Electa Electronics Manufactory, our corporate headquarters located in Hong Kong, was established in 1978 with the goal of providing excellence in printed circuit board assembly. From this beginning we have worked diligently to earn a reputation for quality and integrity with our customers worldwide.
To accommodate continued business growth, Electa Industrial Co., Ltd. was formed in 1989, and its manufacturing operations were relocated to Dongguan city, southern part of China, establishing the first electronics factory in the area. What began with one building has grown into a modern production facility with over 800 employees.
With the move to China, we expanded our capabilities to include electronic manufacturing service (EMS), epoxy potting, tooling fabrication, plastic injection molding, and complementary assembly processes. Electa has become a one-stop OEM manufacturer of a wide variety of products, such as paint sprayers, trimmers, and irrigation controllers. You benefit by having a single source for cost competitive complete electronic products.
In 1989 we opened Electa USA, Inc. a sales office for our customers in the U.S.A.
If we have the pleasure of working together, your product will have its own quality plan, including 100% functional testing, burn in, life testing, etc. as required per your specifications. We also work hand in hand with our customers on agency approvals and compliance, (UL, ETL, VDE, etc.)
At Electa, we are dedicated to continuous improvement. Our facility in China has maintained ISO 9001 certification since 2003, underscoring our commitment to quality. In 2007, we adopted RoHS compliance to enhance our standards further.
We believe that strong employees produce exceptional products. In 2012, we achieved SA 8000 certification, which emphasizes social accountability. Many of our team members have been with the company for 10-20 years, reflecting their loyalty. This dedication extends to our factory, where our turnover is significantly lower than average. In 2016, we expanded our operations by opening a second manufacturing base in Dongguan, China, named Dongguan Motion Electronic Products Ltd. This expansion allows us to invest in new equipment and grow our electronics business.
Most recently, in 2024, we opened our third manufacturing facility in Samut Prakan, Thailand, named Siminno Smart Tech (Thailand) Co., Ltd. This new base enables us to reach new customers and mitigate risks.
